Hey! I'm Gwen from AllThePrettyPrintables.com!
I'm a wife of 30 years as of today. A mom of two great kids that have kiddos of their own. And those two kids made me a grandma x 3.
The grand-babies don't call me grandma. They call me Ama instead. We already had several "grandmas" in the family plus a "Mimi", so I wanted something different.
Ama was the name my daughter called me when she started talking. It took her several months to form "Mama". But I never forgot the "Ama".
So when she came to me and asked what I wanted my soon-to-be first grandchild to call me I realized she'd picked it out when she was 4 months old.
We lived in a lot of different locations for the first couple years we were married. Like I said, we were young and trying to figure out what was up.
And a little more than 26 years ago, we moved to our farm and began to live our lives.

We raised our kids there. Then I went back to college once both of them were in school themselves.
Life and years passed, the kids grew up, and the recession of 2001 hit. The company I'd worked for for several years went belly up in less than a month.
Scary times, not as bad as what we're facing 20 years later, but scary all the same. Thankfully, Hubby found a better job and it covered us.
But, he had to travel. And, since that same daughter wasn't yet out of school, I stayed home most of the time until she graduated.
And during that time of living 80% alone and driving across the country several times a year, I finally realized I'd never have a conventional "job" again.
So, my 1st website SlowCookerKitchen.com was born. I had NO idea what I was doing. And if you read the about page on that website, you'll see I was just too stubborn to ask for help.

But I learned, and it grew, and it does pretty well. It started as just a slow cooker site, but now it's about crockpot cooking, instant pot meals, and meal planning and prep.
AND that last part is why I started getting into printables. It all started with meal prep, menus, and grocery lists.
So, here I am now. Slightly obsessed with pretty printables and finding all the cool ways to use them. You can read more about that here.
Thanks for reading to the end. Get in touch, I'd love to hear your story too!

PS This is me dressing up with my daughter and grand kids for Halloween. We cobbled together a costume for me and had a blast! My girl painted my face as a cat to match the ears I borrowed from my granddaughter.
